I’m reaching out to see if you could pass this information along to your current members who are serving in the financial capability field (or if you have an interest!)? I’m trying to raise awareness about how to become an Accredited Financial Counselor® through AFCPE®.
After your year of service would you like to pursue a field in helping individuals and families with their personal finances? If so, check out this credential… become an Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®). https://www.afcpe.org/
Register for the AFC® Distance Learning Program through Texas Tech University. Summer 2018, Texas Tech will be offering online courses that satisfy the educational requirement for the AFC® exam. You can complete the courses in 8 weeks (check with your site if you can study and serve at the same time). Deadline to register is May 20th.
