    The Disaster Volunteer Coordinator will recruit volunteers while seeking to build the volunteer capacity, program effectiveness and ongoing coordination of the Disaster Action Team (DAT) Program whose members respond locally to disasters such as home fires and floods.  The Disaster Volunteer Coordinator will also build a strong network of community partners and resources to better serve people impacted by disaster.

    The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) works to create a safe, healthy and bright future for all Arizona as envisioned by Governor Doug Ducey. The GOYFF VISTA Leader oversees 17 VISTA Member projects by fostering a support system among VISTAs and their supervisors to build capacity for programs related to Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Veteran poverty, volunteer engagement, trauma informed care, tribal relations, and foster youth transition.
